How do I create a short link?
From the dashboard, choose Create link, paste your destination and optionally pick an alias. Anonymous links can also be created from the homepage and expire after 30 days.
Why is my alias unavailable?
Aliases must be 3–64 characters, unique on their domain, and outside the reserved-word list (system paths like 'login' or 'api' can never be aliases). Deleted links permanently retire their alias.
Can I edit where a link points?
On Starter and above, edit the destination from the link's Settings tab. The short URL never changes; updates propagate within about a minute.
QR codes & analytics
How do I download a QR code?
Open a link's QR tab and download PNG (print sizes up to 2048px) or SVG. The code encodes the short URL, so destination edits never require reprinting.
Why do my clicks differ from another tool's count?
EndURL reports human clicks by default — crawler and preview-bot traffic is classified separately. Tools that count every HTTP request will show higher, less meaningful numbers.

How do I create an API key?
Settings → API keys → Create API key. Choose scopes carefully; the full secret is shown exactly once.
How do I delete my account?
Contact support@endurl.com from your account email. Deletion is explicit and irreversible; links are tombstoned so they can't be claimed by others.
